How to Use Our Stamps

STAMPING

Our stamps are red rubber mounted on cling foam and should be used with an acrylic block or stamp platform.

  1. Place your stamp on an acrylic block or stamp platform.

  2. Ink the rubber side of the stamp while it is on the block or platform.

  3. Press the stamp firmly onto your paper.

  4. Carefully lift the stamp and allow the image to dry.

  5. Color your stamped image as desired.

CLEANING

You may use stamp cleaner to clean the rubber side of your stamps, but DO NOT spray stamp cleaner directly onto the stamp.

Instead:

  • Lightly spray the cleaner onto a microfiber cloth.

  • Gently wipe the rubber side only of the stamp.

  • DO NOT allow stamp cleaner to get onto the foam side of the stamp.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: Stamp cleaner can remove the stamped image printed on the foam side of your stamp.

Why We Recommend a Microfiber Cloth

We recommend using a microfiber cloth because it helps prevent fibers from being left behind on your stamp. Loose fibers can pick up ink and create unwanted lines or marks in your next stamped image.

Cleaning Your Acrylic Block or Stamp Platform

If you use stamp cleaner on your acrylic block or stamp platform, always wash it afterward with soap and water or clean it with hand sanitizer before placing your rubber stamp back onto it.

Stamp cleaner can leave a residue on your block or platform. This residue may:

  • Remove the stamped image from the foam side of your rubber stamp.

  • Transfer the image from your stamp onto the block or platform.

An Easy Cleaning Option

You can also clean your stamps with mild soap and water. Gently wash the rubber side and dry it thoroughly before storing or using your stamp again.

Taking a little extra care when cleaning your stamps will help keep them looking great and working beautifully for many projects!
